DISORDERLY BEAR DEN IN NEED OF STUFFED ANIMALS
The Disorderly Bear Den will hold their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., at the Community Center, 233 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana (park free in the back of the building).
The Disorderly Bear Den is a non-profit, public charity that collects and gives away teddy bears and other stuffed animals to those in need. They do this all year and always need new or gently used animals of all types (Beanie Babies, plush animals, Build-A-Bear-Workshop animals and manufactured or hand-made animals). All donations may be tax deductible on your personal income tax and are greatly appreciated.
The Komets Hockey Team had a Teddy Bear Toss on Friday, November 21, 2014, at the War Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne, at their 8p.m. game with Kalamazoo. On December 3, 2014, team members took 40 of the teddy bears and 24 Good Bears (donated by our Den) to Lutheran’s Childrens Hospital to give to the patients!
