When she was diagnosed she was told by someone that she would be in a wheelchair by the time she was 21. She vowed then to exercise faithfully and has done that consistently! She runs mini-marathons, runs 3-5 days a week, and takes a spin class! In her spare time, she has helped out the Arthritis Foundation with several events.
