KINGSTON DANCES TO END ACHES AND PAINSKingston HealthCare hosted its 18th Annual Dinner Dance on Monday, July 11th at Mount Calvary Church Family Life Center, 1819 Reservation Drive. Proceeds from each ticket sold went toward the Arthritis Foundation. Doors opened at 4:30 p.m., dinner was served at 5:00 p.m. and dancing with Music Express began at 6:00 p.m. lasting until 9:00 p.m.

Presale ticket prices were sold at $5.00 each with $2.00 from each ticket going to benefit the annual Arthritis Jingle Bell Run.

Barb Richards, program director and afternoon host on Majic 95.1 shared her personal experience with arthritis. She was 16 years old when diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. When she was diagnosed she was told by someone that she would be in a wheelchair by the time she was 21. She vowed then to exercise faithfully and has done that consistently! She runs mini-marathons, runs 3-5 days a week, and takes a spin class! In her spare time, she has helped out the Arthritis Foundation with several events.
