CELEBRATE FALL AT SALAMONIE RESERVOIR

Join in the fun at Salamonie Reservoir and enjoy a great fall camping event October 3-4. You need only to pay the gate fee, reserve and pay for your campsite, as all other events are free.

 

Hayrides to see the property will operate from 5:30 p.m. to dusk on Saturday. Trick-or-Treating time is from 6:30 p.m. to dusk Saturday. Please plan to bring candy to give out to youngsters in costume that visit your campsite. Adults are encouraged to wear a costume, as well.

Bring your autumn decorations to decorate your campsite. Campsites will be judged at dusk on Saturday and prizes will be delivered to the winning campsites. Bring your appetite to the amphitheater at 6 p.m. Saturday for a hot dog roast with food and drink provided.

Salamonie Reservoir provides a variety of camping sites for your enjoyment during this special event. Reserve your site by calling 1-866-6campIN or on the web at camp.IN.gov. The Salamonie Interpretive Center and gift shop is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The main campgrounds, all the weekend events and Interpretive Center, are located in Lost Bridge West Recreation Area on Highway 105 in western Huntington County near Andrews. The gate fee to enter the Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area is $5 Fri.–Sun. for in state vehicles and $7 for out-of-state vehicles.
