FOX’S TO CELEBRATE 60TH ANNIVERSARY
60 years ago on July 25, 1959, Ed and Mary Lou Fox said “I do.” After meeting in kindergarten they were married at the age of 19. They have been blessed with 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Ed is retired from Kmart Corporation and Mary Lou retired from Lincoln Life. Today they proudly deliver the Waynedale News. Ed and Mary Lou attend Blackhawk Ministries. They greatly enjoy time with their family.
Ed and Mary Lou were truly made for each other. Their family isn’t quite sure who one is without the other. They complement each other and are the perfect team. Mary Lou tells all the stories and Ed sneaks all the treats with the grandchildren. For many years they have shown their family and friends the meaning of true love and the intentional effort it takes to create a lasting marriage. As Mary Lou once told her granddaughter, “Always remember to tell each other please and thank you.”
The Fox’s will celebrate this wonderful milestone with a meal and fun with their family.
Congratulations on 60 years Ed and Mary Lou! Thank you for being amazing parents, wonderful grandparents and a great asset to our community. We all love you very much! Happy 60th Anniversary.
