“BASKETS AND BAGS” BINGO TO BE PLAYED IN OSSIAN

The Ossian Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority is excited to be getting close to our dream of seeing an amphitheater being built in the Archbold Wilson Park in Ossian. Plans have been finalized by the Ossian Park Board and the Sorority membership is working hard to have a successful “Baskets and Bags” bingo event for the 14th straight year to add to the $30,000 they have pledged to the Park Board for the amphitheater construction.

The event will be held on Monday, October 15th at the Ossian United Methodist Fellowship Center, 201 W. Mill St. Ossian, IN. Doors will open at 6:15 PM with games beginning at 7 PM. Reserved tickets and reserved tables of eight are available by calling 260-403-4846.

Twenty games of bingo will be played for $20.00. Two raffles will also be held for an additional $5.00/each. The prize packages will consist of Longaberger baskets and Thirty-One bags. Most of the prize packages will be filled with extra “goodies“. Concessions of walking tacos and snacks will be available for purchase.

The Sorority’s cheese balls will also be available for purchase the night of the event for $8.00. They can be frozen and used during the upcoming holiday season.

Proceeds from these fundraisers provide support for local projects such as the Archbold Wilson Park Amphitheater Fund and educational scholarships. Other special projects are aimed at literature, help for the speech/hearing impaired, and various fine arts needs within our area.
