COME HANG OUT AT OPEN STREETS
On Sunday, July 9, 2017 you can experience Fort Wayne in a unique way. By joining the City’s first Open Streets Event anchored by the historic, Calhoun Street. The event closes streets to traffic and opens for pedestrians, bicyclists and rollerblading – as well as, fun-filled activities in a more than two-mile block party atmosphere.
Open Streets turn streets into meeting places, places to socialize and places to play. Open Streets is for all ages with hands-on games and activities, live music, dining at local restaurants while sitting at tables in the street, visiting businesses in a unique way and socializing with old and new friends.
This is the same weekend as Art in the Park and Chalk Walk for Three Rivers Festival! Enjoy both on the same day!
Sponsored by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and the Knight Foundation this Free Event is a summer must!
