KINGSTON’S TASTE OF WAYNEDALE BACK AGAIN!

Taste Of Waynedale 2016Kingston Residence will proudly champion the 8th Annual “Kingston’s Taste of Waynedale” on Tuesday, March 22th from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Family Life Center, 1819 Reservation Road. The proceeds from this event will go to both Honor Flight Northeast Indiana and Community Harvest Food Bank.

To date, 26 local restaurants and businesses have committed to participating and will offer samples of a variety of food or drink. Area restaurants who currently plan to participate include Big Boy, Bandido’s, The Bluebird Restaurant, Captain Ron’s Corral, China Palace, Chocolate Fountain, Culver’s, Curly’s Village Inn, Dairy Queen, GFS, Ellison Bakery, Hall’s Original Drive In, Las Tres Hermana’s, Little Caesars Pizza, Mad Anthony Brewing Company, Mike’s Donuts, Nine Mile Restaurant, Pho Viet, Pizza Hut, Sharing Peace Café, Shig’s In Pit, The Stand, Subway, Tucanos Brazilian Grill, Waynedale Bakery and Waynewood Inn.

Additional businesses that are providing support to Kingston’s Taste of Waynedale include The Waynedale News and JW Signs. Tickets can also be purchased at Hair Affair or Curves, both on Bluffton Road. A large silent auction will be held with gifts and services donated by local businesses. GMI Insurance will be raffling off a new bicycle with the winner to be drawn at the upcoming free Spring Trek at the Point event scheduled for Saturday, April 16th which includes both a walk and a run. Trek information will be provided at the Taste of Waynedale. Tickets for the bike are $1 per entry and proceeds will go to the Waynedale Trails and Sidewalks Initiative and the new Bluffton Road Trails and Sidewalks project.

Tickets are $15.00 per person if paid in advance, $20 the day of the event. Please RSVP to 747-1523, cgarrison@kingstonhealthcare.com or stop by between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Kingston Residence, 7515 Winchester Road, Monday through Friday to pick up your tickets.

To date we have raised almost $58,000 for various charities through this event”, stated Kingston Marketing Director Camille Garrison. It has been our privilege to coordinate the Taste of Waynedale and watch it grow through the years. This year promises to be another amazing success for Waynedale.”
