FIVE GOLDEN DAYS OF SAINT PATRICK’S CELEBRATIONS

Tony Henry of Deer Park Irish Pub leads the St. Patrick’s Day parade-the World’s Shortest Parade!Kick off St. Patrick’s Day with Deer Park Irish Pub’s 18th annual Clover Classic! The best and biggest St. Paddy’s celebration in Fort Wayne, Deer Park plans to turn the city green. With The Peoples’ Parade, men & women’s keg-tosses, shamrock sprint, live music, Irish delicacies, and more, this year’s five-day celebration promises to be bigger, greener and luckier than ever!

The party gets started on Wednesday, March 16th at 5:30pm with the lowering of St. Paddy’s first green keg to the magical sound of bagpipes, drums and cheers. Once the green beer starts flowing, stick around to hear The Distractions light up the Deer Park stage under the big top tent.

St. Patrick’s Day is sure to bring out the Irish in all of us. Green beer and corned beef sandwiches are served under 6,000 square feet of heated tents all day to keep you fueled for the “Deer Park Keg Toss,” “Shamrock Sprint,” and “The World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Parade!” Live music starts with Scratch n’ Sniff on the Deer Park stage and carries well into the night.

St. Paddy’s celebrations don’t end on the 17th!

Friday keeps the party going with a tasting of Ireland’s best beers, local and regional crafts, domestics, and imports from 5-9pm. Friday night, back by popular demand, the Deer Park original “Dancioke.” Dancioke combines dance and karaoke into an event you don’t want to miss.

Saturday, the beer trucks open bright and early. Under the big top tent in the evening, Deer Park will feature Elevation: A U2 Tribute Band led by GRAMMY nominated performer Joe E. Welch LIVE on the Deer Park stage starting at 8pm.

Last but not least, celebrate the Saint Patrick’s holiday with your family and your pet.

Sunday is family day as Deer Park teams up with the SPCA for the annual St. Pet-Tricks variety show! “Whose dog can bow wow the longest?”

All events are free to attend with the exception of the beer tasting and the Elevation: A U2 Tribute Band performance. A $10 fee into the beer tasting includes a 4oz. Deer Park Irish Pub tasting glass and 10 beer bucks. Cover for Elevation is $5.

Parking for the entire week can be found across the street at the University of Saint Francis.
