BISHOP LUERS GOLF TEAM WINS WOODLAND HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY INVITATIONAL
At Whispering Creek Golf Club in New Haven with a team score of 312, this is the first golf tournament win for the Luers boys in the past 10-15 years.
Junior Ben Reuille shot a career low even par 72 round, which included 6 birdies, to take Medalist honors. Luers top golfer Conner Nix fired a 73 for the second best score of the day. Caleb Kroft also had a top 5 finish with a solid 80, giving Luers 3 of the top 5 scores of the day. Andy Mauch’s 87 rounded out the Bishop Luers total, which beat out runner-up Blackhawk Christian (328) by 16 strokes.
