KINGSTON HEALTHCARE RANKS HIGH IN ANNUAL SURVEY HISTORY

Kingston HealthCare of Fort Wayne celebrates combined excellent results from their annual Indiana Department of Health State Surveys. Three Kingston communities serve the Fort Wayne region providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation, senior assisted living and memory care.

Kingston Care Center achieved a Five-Star Quality rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). The Five-Star Quality Rating system is designed to help consumers, their families and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily. The system rates nursing homes based on regulatory compliance, staffing and quality measures. The ratings system then combines the three categories for an overall rating between 1 and 5 stars. To find more information about the “Five-Star Quality Rating,” and to find a select facility’s performance for skilled nursing care centers, visit www.medicare.gov.

Kingston Residence of Fort Wayne notes that 14 out of their last 17 surveys have been completely deficiency free.

The Kingston Residence, located on Winchester Road, specializes in assisted living. Residents enjoy the privacy of their own apartment, without the chores of cooking and cleaning, while having the peace of mind of full time nursing support.

Kingston Care Center, located at 1010 W. Washington Center Road, is a skilled care and short-term rehabilitation facility.

Kingston of Dupont has a five-year record of perfect surveys from the Indiana Department of Health. The state survey is required by all licensed healthcare facilities in order to operate and provide clinical care to the public. Kingston at Dupont is a memory care community providing a secure setting with programming specifically designed for adults with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia.

Molly Linder, Regional Manager for the three Fort Wayne Kingston Communities states, “We at Kingston are committed to providing genuine care through our consistent focus on quality and positive patient outcomes. Our outstanding history of Indiana State Department of Health surveys reflect that commitment.”
