LOCAL YOUTH RANCH ANNOUNCES CHARITY BENEFIT AND HORSE DEVELOPMENT CLINIC

Dare to Dream Youth Ranch announced that it will be holding a fundraiser benefit dinner and horse behavioral clinic, conducted by Four-Star Certified Horse Development Specialist, Ryan Rose. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 5, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., at Manasseh Stables, in Roanoke, Indiana.

The event is open to the public and aimed at novices and experienced riders alike, as well as supporters of the Ranch’s cause. “We’re thrilled that Ryan Rose is coming to Northeast Indiana to share his knowledge and skills with the equine community.” said event organizer, Kathleen Horstmeyer. “And Dare to Dream Youth Ranch is a great not-for-profit ranch right in Fort Wayne that offers children the chance to get a real ranch experience. We’re expecting a tremendous night.”

During the demonstration, Rose will be offering insight on dealing with a problem horse and showcasing his expert methods for handling a horse with stubborn behavioral problems—bucking, rearing, hard-to-catch or other uncooperative traits that can be extremely frustrating. Rose’s subject horse will be a local horse, and he will also perform an inspirational demonstration using his own horses.

Admission is $10 and children 12 and under attend free. Parking is also free, as is a dinner, provided by the Dare to Dream staff. A raffle for prizes will also be held. All proceeds from the event will go to Dare to Dream.
