CONGRATS LIEUTENANT!
Indiana State Superintendent Paul Whitesell, PH.D. announced the promotion of David P. Travis to the rank of Lieutenant and will serve as the Sellersburg State Police Post Commander.
David previously held the rank of First Sergeant at the Sellersburg State Police Post and is a 20-year veteran of ISP.
He was transferred to the Sellersburg Post after the closing of the ISP post at Seymour in 2010.
David is a graduate of Elmhurst High School and Indiana State University. He resides with his wife and three daughters in Bartholomew County. And, is the grandson of a proud Waynedale resident, Barbara Travis.
