BARBARA J. PLOUGHE, 71
BARBARA J. PLOUGHE, 71, passed away February 1, 2011 at Ossian Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 6, 1939 in Huntington, Indiana. Mrs. Ploughe was a secretary and administrative assistant, retiring from Goodwill Industries in 2001. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Pythian Sisters, Tetisheri, American Legion Aux., Daughters of the Nile, and The Eagles.
Surviving are daughter, Janice (Joe, III) Eckersley of Warner Robins, Georgia; sons, David D. Ploughe and Dean (Rachel) Ploughe, both of Fort Wayne; mother, Esther L. (Green) Smith of Ossian; sister Carla Jo Jennings of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Ploughe in death was her father, Earl D. Smith.
Funeral service was 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777. Calling was on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
