SCOUTING AROUND
HELPING THE BSA AND A BOY SCOUT
Take the Spirit of Scouting to the road and help the Indiana Scouting movement at the same time. The same Scout Law recited by Indiana’s first Scouts continues to inspire our youth’s ability to do positive things for themselves and others today.
Your purchase of an Indiana Boy Scouts License Plate will support:
All seven councils serving Indiana youth.
90,000 Boy Scouts
13 resident camps
Anyone can purchase a Boy Scout license plate for his/her vehicle. Your contribution will also continue to help make Scouting available to all of these programs.
How can you participate? When you renew, simply add $40 to your payment: $25 goes to your local Boy Scout Council and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles retains $15 for administrative fees. These plates can be used as the standard vehicle registration plates for passenger cars, recreational vehicles, and trucks weighing less than 11,000 pounds. This is not a vanity plate, so special numbers or messages cannot be accommodated. Your plate selection is good until your next registration renewal.
BSA GIFT CARDS ARE NOW AVAILABLE
The Scout Office now has re-loadable gift cards that can be used for Scout Shop merchandise, event registration, gifts, or anything else here at the office and store? The cards are attractive with an Eagle on the front and would make a great gift for a Scout’s birthday, graduation, Christmas, or Eagle Court of honor. This is also a great way for units to purchase awards or pay for events. It can be used just like a credit card and you don’t have to worry about “who is on your account.” Just give the card to anyone you choose. Stop by the Scout Office or Store today and get yours. Christmas is just around the corner.
