REMEMBERING TERRY – FRIEND, COACH, MENTOR
Luers recently lost Terry Giese, a close friend and super Bishop Luers High School Basketball Coach at both our Jr. High and Freshman levels for 8 years.
A former Soccer coach, Terry took up coaching basketball at St. Therese about 11 years ago—-and fell in love with the sport!
His team won the CYO Championship in only his 2nd year.
At Luers, Terry loved the role of assistant Coach. He was instrumental in helping me choose the Jr. High kids to play in our AAU program, as well as in the early development of them in their basketball skills
Terry truly LOVED the girls, and he touched so many of them in many positive ways over the past decade!
