JUNE E. DENNY, 84
JUNE E. DENNY, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at Renaissance Village. Born June 8, 1924, in Ewing, Michigan, she was a homemaker and she attended Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She loved caring for her grapefruit and orange trees while living in Florida and she enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Al) Silvers of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Nicole (Craig) Sterler of Fort Wayne and Chris (Nicole) Silvers of Defiance, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Lauren and Luke Silvers and Madison and Max Sterler.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Pekkala, in 1959; and second husband, Henry Denny, in 1988.
Service was Saturday, February 21 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
