ATTORNEY GENERAL-ELECT GREG ZOELLER NAMES TRANSITION TEAM

Indiana Attorney General-Elect Greg Zoeller has named his transition team that is assisting him in reviewing the current operations of the Office, its structure and ways to provide greater service to the public and to the governmental entities the Attorney General represents.

“It’s an honor to serve as the State of Indiana’s Attorney General, and I appreciate the distinguished group of individuals who have agreed to work with me in developing and enhancing our current operations to build upon the service the people of this state have come to expect from the office,” said Zoeller.

Each member of the transition team will focus on the relationship with constituencies that the office serves and will also consider new ways to serve these groups.

 

The transition team members include:

Doug Church, Indiana State Bar Association, Immediate Past President

Thomas Fisher, Office of the Attorney General, Solicitor General

Steve Johnson, Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council, Executive Director

John Krauss, Indiana Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations, Director Indiana University Public Policy Institute, Director

Mark Mutz, Mosaic Consulting

John Myrland, McCordsville United Methodist Church, Pastor

Steve Schultz, former General Counsel to Governor Mitch Daniels

Jennifer Thuma, Indiana General Assembly, Staff Attorney

 

“This is an experienced and knowledgeable group that will help me focus on my commitment to serving the State of Indiana to the best of my ability by reaching out to those we serve during challenging times,” added Zoeller.
Zoeller was selected in the November election to succeed Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter. The Attorney General-Elect officially took office Monday, January 12, 2009 following an 11:00 a.m. swearing-in ceremony in the Indiana Statehouse.
