THAT’S THE WAY I SAW IT
P.T. BARNUM KNEW HUMAN NATURE
P.T. Barnum lived 1810 to 1891 and was a master of showmanship and co-founder of the Barnum and Bailey Circus in 1881. One of his favorite expressions was, “There’s a sucker born every minute.” Barnum would be right at home with all those suckers out there. The suckers are baseball fans.
Joe Torre stated in an interview, “Let’s get back to playing baseball and forget about the steroid problem.” I have a book I’ve been reading, The Business of BS. Actually what many are saying is let’s get back to playing baseball so we can make our millions of dollars.
In the book it mentioned about partnership. It’s meaning departments always work in partnership with other colleagues. BS’ers look like they work in partnership but are all out for themselves.
Baseball will no doubt set an attendance record as there is a sucker born every minute and that’s the way I saw it.
