CELEBRATE EASTER WITH WAYNE TOWNSHIP
The Wayne Township Trustee’s Office will be welcoming Spring with an Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Celebration at Headwaters Park on Saturday, March 22.
Excited children will hunt for Easter eggs and will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny. The Hunt and Celebration will begin at 11 a.m. on the east side of Headwaters Park.
This Easter Egg Hunt is open to all children, ages three through twelve, and family members and friends are welcome to attend with the children. This event is planned by the Outreach staff of the Trustee’s office and is especially for those children who are in shelters or who otherwise might not have the opportunity to celebrate Easter.
The Celebration will include activities for children in addition to the Easter Egg Hunt. Prizes will be awarded. There is no cost for the event.
Wayne Township Trustee Richard Stevenson said the Easter Bunny is hoping for great weather for this year’s Easter Egg Hunt. But in the event the Bunny does not get its wish, the Easter Celebration will be in the Wayne Township Trustee’s Office at 320 East Superior Street.
