NEUTER VOUCHERS
Animal Care & Control to Give Away Spay Neuter Vouchers through the 50/100 Program
City of Fort Wayne, Animal Care & Control will give away spay neuter vouchers to Allen County pet owners through a new event called the 50/100 Program in honor of Spay Day USA. The give away will begin February 27 and run through March 2 or until 150 vouchers are gone.
The give away is called 50/100 because 50 vouchers will be offered to the owners of pit bull dogs and 100 vouchers will be offered to the owners of other dogs and cats. Applicants and animals must live within Allen County.
Any Allen County pet owner that has not previously received financial spay/neuter assistance from the shelter is eligible for this limited offer. Pet owners should apply in person at Animal Care & Control during business hours of 11 am-5:30 pm and until 7 pm Wednesday. Two animals per residential property are eligible for assistance providing the applicant is the legal owner, provides a drivers license/picture id, has proof of current animal rabies vaccination, and meets the required co-pay.
Co-pay: $10 per male cat, $15 per female cat or per any dog weighing less than 89lbs, $20 for a female dog weighing over 89lbs.
