SMOKE ON THE WIND
LEARNING ALL THE TIME AND MY TWO CENTS
I believe it is good to keep learning in the main stream of life, but I must admit I have just got to get out of the stream for a while and reflect, and then add my two cents.
I was talking with a person not long ago who was very self-centered and very full of herself. A very beautiful person, who had the answers to all of life’s challenges but could not boil water if her life depended on it. I had the thought, “Who is this person and what does she do for a living?” I did not have to even ask. She said, “I am a life coach.” Well, this was new to me.
There really is such a job? Then I got to thinking. I have had many life coaches, and I still do. My mother and father, my brother Feather in the Wind, my friends, my teachers. And the very best life coach that any of us can have leads by example. Always has and always will. Yes, you know this Life Coach. He is the one who said, “Love one another, and do to others as you would have them do to you.” Yes, He is the Way Shower. His name is not Tom Bodett, but He will indeed leave the light on for you, to guide you. What a wonderful Life Coach we have. Yes – His name is Jesus.
