RICHARD AND LUCILLE BUSCH, SR. OBSERVE 60TH ANNIVERSARY
Richard and Lucille (Hoeppner) Busch, Sr. recently celebrated their 60th anniversary at a family open house on October 7.
The couple was married on October 5, 1946 at Mount Calvary Lutheran church by Pastor Backs.
They began their lives together building a home which soon became filled with 6 children. Their children are: Sandra L. Simmons of Fort Wayne, Richard F. Busch, Jr. of Richmond, Kentucky, Ronald E. Busch of Fort Wayne, Sherran K. DeArmond of Fort Wayne, and Sonya L. Smith of Fort Wayne. Another daughter, Susan F. Smith is deceased. The Busch family continues to grow with 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Richard was employed by Tokheim Corporation for 44 years and served in the Navy during World War II. Lucille enjoyed being a housewife.
