LAVON C. BARRY, 83

LaVON C. BARRY, 83, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at Lutheran Homes. Born October 30, 1922, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Minnich and Laura (Kabisch). She was a homemaker and member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Laura Farlow of Roper, N.C.; four sons, Joseph (Judy) Barry, Thomas Barry and Ronald Barry Jr., and Richard (Gayle) Barry of Lake City, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Barry Sr.; one brother; one sister; and one grandson.

Funeral service was Friday, June 30, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Pastor Fred Meuter officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.

Preferred memorials to ARC or Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.
