DOROTHY MARY BAKER, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at Heritage of Huntington. Born December 25, 1922, in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker, and retired in 1992 as a stocker with Supermarket Service, after 17 years. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church.
Surviving are sons, John N. (Jana L. Gamble) Baker of Columbia City, Thomas P. (Gayla L. Flauding) Baker of Columbia City; daughter, Carolyn (Barry) Stech of Roanoke; sister, Ruth Sutorius of Fort Wayne; brothers, Arthur (Louanna) Gutman of Fort Wayne, Ralph (Jane) Gutman of Yoder; five grandchildren, John Baker, Jennifer Wilcoxson, Jarod (Lori) Baker, Angela (Brian) Holley and Amanda (Dan) Hullinger; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Baker on June 17, 1994.
Service was Monday, October 4, at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was Sunday, October 3, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
