THE VOICE OF THE TOWNSHIP
The Wayne Township Trustee’s Outreach Department will be hosting our 8th annual “Great Easter Egg Hunt!” on Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Headwaters Park at 11:00am. The event is dedicated to the children of homeless and transitionally housed families. We believe all children should be able to enjoy a great spring day outside to shake off the winter blues and move into a new season. All children ages 3-12 years old are welcome to attend the Great Easter Egg Hunt.
We have many surprises in store for the youth to make this year’s hunt magical! Nationally known Magician and Comedian Dick Stoner will be featured! Dick will be performing his comical version of the Chinese Linking Rings, one of the oldest tricks in magic. The laughs will be fast and furious as Dick involves members of the audience in his comedy presentations, he will close his show with an attempt to break Houdini’s record with his hilarious version of the wrist tie escape! There’s so much more but you’ll have to wait until April 10th 11:00 am.
After hunting for Easter eggs and searching for the prize eggs each child hunting will receive a goody bag with lots of candy, fruit and other goodies!
