EILEEN HEINEY, 82
EILEEN HEINEY, 82, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, December 25, 2003, at Covington Manor Nursing Center. Born August 11, 1921, in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker and member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild and Sunshine Circle. “She was a loving mom, grandmother and had a heart of gold.” She enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by sons Dan Heiney and Ron Heiney, both of Fort Wayne; daughter Kay Yoder of New Haven; sister Jean Voirol of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle E. Heiney; brother Ralph Vogelgesang; and sister Loraine Ellenwood.
Service was Monday, December 29 with calling one hour prior, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne. Calling was also from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday December 28th, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
