BERNICE I. “GRANDMA BEA” SORG, 72
Bernice I. “Grandma Bea” Sorg, 72, died Monday, July 14, 2003 at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker and a teacher’s aid at Maplewood School. She was a member of Northeasteran Indiana Kennel Club and a past member of the German Shepard Dog Club. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister; her husband Louis H. Sorg passed away in July 2000.
She is survived by daughter Carol S. Brecht, Fort Wayne; sisters Betty Weber, Fort Wayne; Ruth Kissell, Columbia City, Indiana; 2 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, July 17, 2003 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
