ESTHER JOAN DAUGHERTY, 76
Esther Joan Daugherty, 76, died Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Bluffton, Indiana she was employed at Century Beauty Salon for 50 years as a beautician. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She retired in 2000. She was preceded in death by sister Irma Wright, brothers Norman Ripple and Leland Ripple.
She is survived by her husband Joe Earl Daugherty; daughter Janet Burniston, Garrett, Indiana; sisters Eva Davis, Bluffton, Indiana; Lillian Herron, Bluffton; 5 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at the Klaehn Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel. Preferred Memorials to Calvary United Methodist Church or American Lung Association.
