GERALD J. BERNHART, 68

Gerald J. Bernhart, 68, died Monday, September 23, 2002 at Lutheran Home. A native of Wheeling, West Virginia, he was a salesman for Superior Business Forms. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #296, and an Army Reserve veteran. He was an avid golfer and IU Basketball fan. He was a caring father and will be missed by his Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sonya L. Bernhart, who passed away March 9, 2000.

He is survived by sons Scott Bernhart, Fort Worth, Texas; Brian Bernhart, Fort Wayne; daughters Heidi Densel, Fort Wayne; Heather Klage, Fort Wayne; sister Maryland Pramesa, Wheeling, West Virginia; and 7 Grandchildren.

Private services were held at Bethany Lutheran Church with burial in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials to Bethany Lutheran Church or Lutheran Homes, Inc. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
