RICHARD “DICK” LOVE, 69
Richard “Dick” Love, 69, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at Covington Manor Nursing Center. He was Self employed at City Salvage as an Auto parts store owner/operator and retired in 1992. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran and a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, the David Parrish American Legion Post #296, and a Lifetime member of Elks Lodge #155. His parents were Walter A. Love and Ruth Alice (Johnston). A Tribute states: “To a special father with deepest love and affection from your daughter, Gloria, brother, family and many friends . . . “
He is survived by daughter Rebecca Fields, Spanish Court, Alabama; fiancée Gloria Kimmey, Van Wert, Ohio; brother Arthur Love, Jackson, Michigan; 2 grandsons Richard Fields & Christopher Ryan Fields, 1 nephew; and 1 niece.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 27, 2002 at Forest Park United Methodist Church. The body was cremated. Rev. James Price officiated. Preferred memorials to Forest Park United Methodist Church and hospice of Northeast Indiana.
