CHALMER V. HENSCHEN, 95
Chalmer V. Henschen, 95, died Thursday, February 7 at Covington Manor. A native of Wells County, he was a buyer for Schust Company for 25 years and retired in 1973. He was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church and Waynedale Men’s Association. His hobby was gardening. He is preceded in death by a sister Leona Beer and grandson Larry Henschen. His wife Edith Beatrice Kinerk Henschen passed away August 22, 1990.
He is survived by sons Lynn Henschen, Fort Wayne; Noel Henschen, Rural Uniondale, Indiana; Jay Henschen, Fort Wayne; daughter Suzanne Dunlap, Fort Wayne; brother Virgil Henschen, Goshen, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 14 Great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, February 9 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials to Waynedale United Methodist Church.
