COLLEEN M. FERGUSON, 72, of rural Markle, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at her residence. Born October 9, 1932, in Yoder, she retired from Ossian Healthcare Center, in 1995. She was a member of First Church of Christ, Bluffton.
Surviving are four daughters, Kathleen Ulanowski of Fort Wayne, Donna Marie Heister of Huntington, Pamela Ferguson of Markle and Laurie King of Churubusco; two sons, Michael Ferguson of Ossian and James Ferguson of Bluffton; two brothers, Richard I. Carney of Phoenix, Arizona and Lynn E. Carney of Bluffton; four sisters, Nancy J. Sechman of Fort Wayne, Fran Haynie of Ossian, Karen R. Schocke of Markle and Mary E. Carney of South Whitley; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Ferguson, in 1995; parents, Mearl and Martha Patten Carney; and brother, Glen Martin Carney.
Funeral service was Thursday, March 10, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Burial at Hoverstock Cemetery, Zanesville.
