$10,000 RAISED AT MINNIE’S CANCER BENEFIT
Charity begins at home and on Sunday July 16, 2006. A group of Minnie’s (Minnie’s Diner) friends got together and sponsored a cancer benefit for Minnie. The local event included fun, food and live entertainment. All events were held at AMVETS #33 located at 6620 Koester Road.
The day began with a Poker Run which was $10 per rider and included a chicken dinner. Pop-N-Fresh provided the music from 1:00-4:00pm and a bake sale followed, with tip boards and auction.
Thanks Waynedale for helping out a good cause and good luck to John and Minnie as they continue to contribute to their community from Minnie’s Diner at 6433 Bluffton Road.
