KNUTH FUNDRAISER
We are proud to announce the Brett Knuth Fundraiser Benefit Golf Outing and Texas Hold’em Tournament. These high energy, entertaining events will be held July 30 at the Donald Ross Golf Course and American Legion Post 296 in Fort Wayne. The event is open to the general public.
Shotgun golf starts at 7:30 a.m. with food, door prizes and raffles throughout the day. Entry fee is $240 per team or $60 per person.
The Texas Hold’em Tournament will be held at American Legion Post 296 and is sponsored by Little Vegas. Start time is 4:00 p.m. on July 30. Admission fee is $60 per person.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to be a part of this exceptional event designed to raise money for the Brett Knuth Benefit. Brett, a 1978 graduate of Elmhurst High School, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis one year ago. This is a chronic progressive lung disease of adults, characterized by alveolar accumulation of granular proteinaceous material that is PAS positive and lipid rich, with little inflammatory cellular exudates; the cause is unknown.
Brett recently traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to have a procedure done known as a lung lavage. Each lung had to be done at separate times and he will have to be off of work for a period of time. This procedure was necessary because Brett’s health had not improved thus far. This benefit will be able to help assist Brett with his medical and living expenses.
