SCOUT TROOP #38 COMPLETES SERVICE PROJECT AT SWCC
On April 28 and 29, 2018 Boy Scout Troop #38, sponsored by Calvary United Methodist Church, 6301 Winchester Road, performed a service project at the Southwest Conservation Club. They had 9 boys working a total of 64 combined hours over the two days.
All the Boy Scouts and leaders performed general landscaping and debris removal. They started the cleanup on the trails north of the prairie and continued around the boat ramp picking up trash and clearing brush. This project was in conjunction with the honey bee and the prairie project.
“The Southwest Conservation Club is extremely grateful for the generosity of time and labor from the Scouts and their leaders to help make the grounds more beautiful,” said Eddie Coble, Board Member.
