OUR CHILDREN OUR FUTURE
Our Children Our Future, Allen County System of Care is hosting its 3rd Annual Resource Fair & Family Fun Night on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at The Summit (1025 W. Rudisill Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46807).
This event is free and open to the public, and we invite community providers and area families to join us! This is an opportunity to get information on available resources that families may need to thrive.
This event is split into three different portions. First, the Resource Fair is from 12:30-2:30PM. During the Resource Fair, we will have 60 different organizations/entities hosting booths and tables for providers to gather information and resources their clients may benefit from. At 3:30PM, we will host a Child Abuse Prevention ceremony to bring awareness to the dangers of child abuse and steps that can be taken to prevent it in our community. We will have the community plant a pinwheel garden to promote child abuse prevention. Then, the Family Fun Night is from 4:00-7:00PM. The Family Fun Night is where we invite the entire community to come gather information and resources from 60 different organizations/entities, enjoy a free meal, receive giveaways and prizes, and enjoy fun activities with their families. Last year, our event saw almost 800 people!

Our Children Our Future is a System of Care developed to help meet the needs of youth and families in the Allen County area. The System of Care is a collaboration of service providers and community members, and is designed to break down the barriers and help families that have unmet emotional, behavioral or physical needs.
