CONSTITUTION 101 CLASS

The Allen County Bar Foundation (ACBF) is bringing back Constitution 101 — a six-week, non-credit course offered at the Allen County Public Library’s downtown location. The classes start February 6 and are held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on each consecutive Tuesday through March 13.

Registration is $50 and includes a copy of the “We the People” textbook. Registration is available at www.allencountybar.org/allen-county-bar-foundation/ or by emailing acba@allencountybar.org. Space is limited to 40 participants.

ACBF is again partnering with the League of Women Voters Fort Wayne chapter, IPFW’s Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics and ACPL to present this class based on the popular “We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution” curriculum used in high schools across the country.

It will be taught again by Robert Leming, the national director of the Center for Civic Education’s “We the People” programs. He earned his bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees from Indiana University Bloomington in education.
