POWELL’S CELEBRATE 60 YEARS
Charles and Marvel (Bashop) Powell, Winchester Road, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on February 25, 1956 in the Third Street United Brethren (now Anchor Community Church).
The Powell’s have been blessed with four children. Sons, Gary and Tim Powell, Fort Wayne and two daughters, Cheri Vinson, Fort Wayne and Deb Smith, Angola. They are also the proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. All living near the Fort Wayne area.
The family will be having a special celebration dinner before Charles and Marvel go on a trip to Florida, with stops on the East Coast, a week in Orlando and highlighted with a romantic stay on a sail boat docked in a Key West Harbor.
