LIGHT OF LEARNING WINNER

Principal Lois Widner announced Mrs. Paula Svitek is the Light of Learning award winner for the 2015-2016 school year. The announcement was made at the end of an all-school Mass.

Mrs. Svitek is a resource teacher and a licensed special education teacher and works with students from preschool through 4th grade. She is also the Wilson and Fundations Coordinator. Mrs. Svitek has worked as a resource teacher at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School for four years.

Some of the criteria for the Light of Learning award include being an excellent Catholic role model, being knowledgeable of the subject he or she teaches, motivates students well, and relates well to students. Mrs. Svitek and other Light of Learning award winners from Fort Wayne area Catholic schools will join Bishop Kevin Rhoades for a special luncheon honoring all of this year’s Light of Learning award winners on February 1, 2016.
