SMOKE ON THE WIND
I am asked frequently how I dealt with the loss of my daughter when she was just 21.
Well, let me tell you. It is called faith. My faith works for me and I’m at peace. Of all the people in the world, God blessed me to be her father.
People have said to me, “I don’t know what I would do if ever I lost a child.”
Well, folks, I’m no better than you, but I can tell you this. If you can’t deal with life through faith in The Creator, then you don’t need to be concerned about the afterlife and where you will be, because you are living in hell. Heaven is yours by keeping faith in the joy of having been a father, if only for 21 years, or for just a moment.
If you have heartache about anything – yes, I mean anything – sit quietly, close your eyes, and ask Jesus to come into your heart and sit with you. He brings joy to aching hearts. All we need to do is ask and we will receive.
Yes, we will receive according to our faith.
I pray that you and I keep the faith, and when we open our eyes and our hearts to Jesus, we can sing Alleluia with a smile on our faces and many songs of gratitude for our lives.
This is heaven on earth because we have faith. And if we lack faith, well, I don’t think I need to tell you any more about a living hell, do I.
Peace be with you, my friends.
