$10,000 DONATION FOR DIABETES RESEARCH
Fort Wayne Aerie #248, Fraternal Order of Eagles, presented a check for $10,000 to The Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center on Saturday, May 14 at 6 p.m. at their local Aerie, located at 4940 Bluffton Road.
Dinner was served at 6 p.m. with the check presentation at 7 p.m. The Fort Wayne Eagles raised funds for the Diabetes Research Center by selling bingo tickets at the Aerie.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles has maintained a presence in the Fort Wayne area since 1902 and currently hosts nearly 700 Aerie and Auxiliary members.
