WAYNEDALE NATIVE OFFERS FREE PRO-FOOTBALL CAMP
Jason Baker, a graduate of Wayne High School, currently Carolina Panthers punter and 11-year NFL veteran, today announced that camp registration will extend through April 8.
“We’ve extended the registration period by two weeks to ensure that every middle school kid has a chance to participate,” said Baker. “The YMCA is providing participants with a new way to register this year and we want to make sure information on the process has reached area kids, parents and coaches.”
The 2011 Camp will be held May 14-15 at Wayne High School and Concordia High School. All current 6th, 7th and 8th graders who are attending middle school in the Fort Wayne area are eligible to attend. Those wishing to participate may register up through April 8 at the following YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne locations:
Renaissance Pointe, Jorgensen Family, Parkview Family and Central Branch.
There is no cost to attend, however, each player will participate in a community service project to help pay for the camp.
