SHOW CHOIR COMPETES AT TWO LOCAL COMPETITIONS
The St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School show choir, the Brooklyn Street Singers, performed at two show choir competitions in early March. The first was on March 4th at the Bishop Luers Midwest Show Choir Invitational. The second was on March 5 at the Homestead High School Classic Showcase.
The Brooklyn Street Singers, made up of 14, 5th and 7th graders, competed against several public school show choirs in both competitions. The Brooklyn Street Singers show choir is directed by Ben Wedler and the choreography is by Ryan Dawson. The Brooklyn Street Singers performed songs from the Disney movie repertoire and were accompanied on the piano by Ben Wedler and on the drums by Dan Katter.
