SMOKE ON THE WIND

Some day when it is windy and looks like it is going to rain, and we are feeling a little down, here is what works to lift our spirit.
Go to one of Indiana’s state parks.
Walk in Nature. Whistle or sing a happy tune.
Now, look up in the sky.
Do you see those big beautiful birds? Wow! They sure love to soar and play among the clouds. Oh, how enjoyable they are to watch, soaring and not flapping their wings, just riding the thermals of peace and harmony. They are often times mistaken for hawks and sometimes even eagles, but they are turkey buzzards.
Wait just a minute. Yes, I know they are not the most beautiful birds to look at on the ground, but they have a most beautiful message for us humans.
Spread your wings and soar.
Everyone will look up at you and say,
“Oh, how beautiful! God Bless us, One and All.”
