ORDER OF THE ARROW

Conclave 2011 – great news! Kiskakon Lodge is host of 2011 Section C6B Conclave. We will be at CCLT (Camp Chief Little Turtle) May 20–21 – 2011. Make sure you mark your calendars NOW! This is a great opportunity for Arrowmen to see the big picture of OA right in our own backyard. Youth and adult committees are forming now. If you would like to help contact event chairman David Putt, 260-356-7138 or email Dputt2008@comcast.net. Spring Ordeal will be early in 2011 to help get ready for this big event.

2010 – 2011 RECHARTER PROCESS

Each year, it is necessary for each unit to renew its BSA charter. In the Anthony Wayne Area Council, this process takes place in December and January. There are 3 important steps to the Recharter Process:

1 – Inventory Members and Leaders

2 – Enter Data through Internet Rechartering

3 – Secure Needed Signatures and Fees

URGENT NOTICE AGAIN!

(Unit Re-chartering time is close at hand.)

As of July 1, 2010, Youth Protection Training is required by all registered and non-registered Boy Scout Volunteers and a copy of the certificate must accompany all registrations.

Also as of January 1, 2010, paper Tour Permits are no longer accepted at the Council Office, National is now paperless everything is electronic all Tour Permits (Local and National) are now to be filed electronically on-line which is available through www.awac.org.

Other items that have gone electronic are: Eagle Scout Application, Eagle Scout Workbook, Unit Advancements and Unit Re-chartering.
