JULIE CHRISTIAN WINS “TEACHER CHAMPION” AWARD

Also pictured are Principal Lois Widner (center) and Lisa Fabian of the Allen County Education Partnership.On June 11th, the Allen County Education Partnership awarded its annual “Teacher Champion” award to Mrs. Julie Christian, a 3rd grade teacher at St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
The award was announced and presented by Lisa Fabian of the Allen County Education Partnership at the end of a St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School Mass. The award is given to one public and one non-public school each year, and is awarded to teachers “who empower their students to be champions,” said Lisa Fabian.
St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School Principal Lois Widner nominated Mrs. Christian for the annual award. The Teacher Champion award will be followed up with an event in mid-September when Mrs. Christian will be recognized as a recipient of the Teacher Champion award.
