(Figuratively speaking of course.)
The Miami District Pinewood Derby, hosted by Cub Scout Pack 3349, will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Road (Time Corner area). Racing is open to all Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts – you do not need to participate as a Unit and all individual racers are welcome.
Check-in starts at 10:30am and goes until 2:30pm
Racing from 11:00am – 3:00pm
Awards and patches will be handed out at 3:30pm
If you need to leave the race please return by 3:30pm
All cars will be inspected and weighed when you arrive. AWAC derby rules will be enforced except the maximum height is 6 inches. A copy of the Pinewood Rules & Regulations is available by contacting Sarah Archer at the Scout office by dialing 260-432-9593 or her cell phone at 705-8328.
The cost to enter is $5 per Racer. More information is available by contacting Shawn Parker at 260-705-3573. Ask about pre-registering ahead of time.
