If you have ever been to a state park in Indiana, you know of the Peace, Tranquility, Beauty and Blessings to be found there. Allow me the honor of sharing one with you.
On a crisp fall day at Ouabache State Park, two deer appeared in a clearing. I had some Ritz crackers that I began to zing at them like a Frisbee. Each time I would shorten the distance until they came and ate from my hand the round Ritz crackers.
They turned and walked slowly toward the woods.
I yelled at them, “Next time I will bring you some apples!”
They smiled and spoke to my spirit, saying “Until next time.”
