EASTER SEALS ARC RECEIVES $10,000 GRANT FROM 1st SOURCE BANK
Funds to be used for Program Development, Building Repairs and Maintenance
Easter Seals Arc has granted $10,000 from 1st Source Bank to purchase equipment and supplies that will support and enhance its ProjectsDrive Group program, which benefits over 300 working age clients with disabilities. This $10,000 donation will enhance Allen County’s economic development efforts and empower adults with disabilities by teaching work skills and offering employment opportunities and supported employment services.
“1st Source Bank recognizes the outstanding work being done by Easter Seals Arc and we are pleased to make this donation,” said Jan Wilhelm, 1st Source Vice President. “This donation will go a long way in helping the clients of Easter Seals Arc.”
Easter Seals Arc will specifically use the donation to purchase workbenches to be used by clients, a state-of-the-art sewing machine to enable higher quality and production value to subcontracted work, several heavy-duty scales for use in weighing counting products, special arm chairs, and a weather shield to protect clients from hazardous weather conditions.
